To make this Fengqing Golden Buds Ripened Pu-erh Cake tea the tea makers carefully picked the leaves in early spring of 2013 from Fengqing, Yunnan. The cake body is made of the finest leaves using pile-fermentation method. It is glossy brown in appearance and has golden tips visible on the top and bottom. It has distinctive mellow taste with smooth aftertaste. The liquid is bright deep red. Due to the fact that the leaves for making this cake were picked in the early days of spring, they have high levels of phytochemicals that helps gradually with digestion and remove greasy feeling.
