Keemun Black Tea – Grade 2

Product Description

Grade 2 Qimen Keemun black tea

  • A gongfu tea from Qimen county, Anhui province
  • Harvest Time: May 1, 2015
  • Dark black, glossy thin buds topped with golden coloured tips
  • Makes a bold copper coloured tea
  • A bold but smooth, fruity taste with a lingering, mellow aftertaste
  • Moderate caffeine (less than 20% of a cup of coffee)

Keemun Black Tea – Grade 2 is grown on the same plantations as our Premium Keemun Hao Ya and Grade 1 Keemun teas. Also, the same tea bushes and the same processing techniques are used. The main difference is that this tea is picked a bit later in the season and the tea has already grown leaves, providing a price difference to the teas with earlier buds.
